Personality
Andrew was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, where the long winters taught him the value of resilience, hard work, and movement . . . shoveling snow and hauling firewood were part of daily life.
From a young age, he was drawn to physical activity and community, competing in soccer, volleyball, and wrestling before discovering a lasting passion for personal training and human kinetics.
Now a Registered Kinesiologist, Andrew brings a holistic approach to healthcare, believing strongly in the importance of multidisciplinary care and the understanding that recovery, growth, and wellness take time. He is a dedicated lifelong learner who views education not as a destination, but a continuous journey.
Outside of the clinic, Andrew can often be found walking through town or along forest trails with his dog Jackson—usually while listening to a new audiobook or three. On weekends, his favorite spot is near the water with a stack of books in hand. He’s passionate about movement, nature, and helping others rediscover both through thoughtful, patient-centered care.

Andrew values building connections both within and beyond the clinic. He has volunteered at the Arctic Winter Games and worked directly with youth through FIVE: Behaviour and Education Services, supporting physical activity and engagement in structured environments. Outside of work, Andrew helps foster community through a bi-weekly board game group and is an active creator in the tabletop space—designing and self-publishing board game content, which he happily shares with anyone interested in trying something new.
Andrew’s Edge:
Andrew brings a focused, compassionate, and highly individualized approach to every client he works with. He is particularly passionate about both chronic and acute conditions, with a special interest in return-to-play protocols and personalized movement strategies. Whether supporting athletes in their recovery or guiding individuals through long-term rehabilitation, Andrew meets each client where they are—understanding that motivation, goals, and challenges differ from person to person.
His background blends self-driven discipline with collaborative team experience, having worked with the Camosun Chargers and the Shawnigan Lake School rugby program. These roles taught him the value of adaptability, communication, and recognizing that no two people—nor recoveries—are the same. Andrew is continually expanding his knowledge and is currently working toward writing the Clinical Exercise Physiology exam. He is deeply curious about how people move, grow, and adapt over time and is committed to helping his clients do the same through evidence-informed, empathetic care.
